Yes, absolutely! Using roller shades on sliding glass doors is a fantastic way to achieve a clean, modern look, but the setup is slightly different from a standard window.
Instead of one giant shade covering the entire door, we strongly recommend installing two separate roller shades side-by-side (a “split” configuration). This allows you to raise just one shade to walk in and out while keeping the other down to block sunlight and maintain privacy.
However, you do need to be careful about door handle clearance and mounting depth.
